Right now, this category is going to be a catch-all for kites that don't fit into the other categories listed.
This kite is based on a rather simple design I picked up from Jon Burkhardt. The sail is a flat square with a 3 point bridle. To keep the kite stable, a rather large tail is required, typically 12 units long and 1/2-2/3 units wide, with battens to keep the banner tail unfurled.
The graphic on the kite is derived from the cover art of the album Ecto, by Happy Rhodes. The same graphic, appliqued on a T-8 FlowForm , was commissioned, at the suggestion of Cathy Guetzlaff, by ecto , the Happy Rhodes mailing list, as a birthday present for Happy, back in the summer of '93.
